Do the Sharks Have a Chance?

No. This fight says it all. The San Jose Sharks are a good team, there is no doubt about it. They handled the Bruins 2-0 in February, one of the most frustrating games to watch (even though there are so many to pick from over the course of the '10-'11 B's season.)

When they reach the third period, the Sharks fall apart like the Yankees in the '04 ALCS. Between that and the dominance of the Vezina Trophy-candidate Roberto Luongo between the pipes for the Vancouver Canucks, the Sharks look like they're done.

Shark Week

No, its not a trick. Today is the first official day of Shark Week on Discovery Channel, the best week of the year. Obviously I'm a huge fan of the week, but it seems to me that over the past few years, they're just running out of things to talk about or teach us. I'm not marine biologist, but in the past few years, I'm pretty sure I've learned the ins and outs of at least 13 different species of sharks.

As long as they show great whites jumping out of the ocean with a seal in its mouth, or hammerhead sharks destroying anything in their path, you can count me in for the full week of entertainment.
