The Newest Celtic

This is probably the greatest thing since sliced bread. The Diesel Train is pulling into North Station.

Shaquille O'Neal signed a deal with the Boston Celtics. So what questions remain? How will Shaq be used on the team? How will he fit in with the team chemistry? And most importantly...What is his new nickname going to be? In honor of this, I present another video. The Top 10 Best Shaq Quotes.

Foxes Getting Wild

haha look at how excited that one fox is when he discovers you can bounce high as shit on a trampoline. What's with that one asshole fox though not even trying it out and hassling the shit out of the other one.

Crazy Catch

Unreal, fucking spidy is in the out field climbing up walls, catching balls, and kicking ass. Dude just walks off like it wasn't even a big deal to, at least bask in the glory buddy that wont happen to you ever again.

Weekender's Top iPod Jams

So Ben's been taking most of the music write-ups, bringing you the tougher side of the Weekend's style. I'm going to take things a different route, and give you a little taste of the softer side of the Weekend.

Going to see Zac Brown on August 15th in Hartford, should be an awesome show. This is probably my favorite song of all time, and I'm a huge fan of the cover. From their live album "Pass the Jar' released in May.

Guster just goofing around in the studio, but giving you a sample of their new single "Do You Love Me?" from their upcoming album "Easy Wonderful" set to release in October.

I put this one on here for a number of reasons: One, Sox fans, even though we're not at home this weekend, we need to put forth the same effort we would at home to hear this song blast at the end of a game. Two, its a great song altogether. Three, is the drummer supposed to be singing? I have no clue what's going on there.

The Weekend Getaway

I'll be gone again this weekend, sports fans, so the blog is again in Ben's & Friends' hands. My destination will be Austin, live music capital of the world. I'll be there til Monday, hopefully I can get some posts up about the Sox-Yanks series. I know things have been slow at the Weekend, but hey, everyone has their slumps. We've been spending some time in the cages, now we're ready to break out of it and go on another tear.

Youkilis To Have Season Ending Surgery

Josh Beckett, Victor Martinez, Mike Lowell, and Jacoby Ellsbury came back from the disabled list in the past week, but one more member has been added to the Walking Wounded. Kevin Youkilis went down the other day with a torn abductor muscle in his right thumb.

The Red Sox are 6 games behind the AL East-leading New York Yankees going into a 4-game series hosted in the Bronx. If the Sox don't take at least 3 out of 4, they're in some serious trouble. No matter what happens, the AL East is going to be contested by 2 teams, but if the Sox can have a solid weekend, we might be looking at World War III.

First game tonight, with Clay Buchholz against Javier Vazquez, 7:05 from the Bronx. Go Sox.

Reporter fail

I can't tell if this was just set up but it seems like the real deal. That reporter has to be the biggest jabrone of all time the way he handle the situation. "We'll talk to management" what the hell does that even mean. What is management going to do with a thousand pieces of a melting ice sculpture. Seems like this is a frequent thing for the ice sculptor though saying he is tired of stuff like this. Stop doing interviews with dudes that cant even tuck their shirt in buddy. Gah, this isn't astrophysics.
